Hey everyone, Ryan here with a look at the trailer for the new thriller THE LOOKOUT.
After experiencing a brain injury, and facing a mental disability, janitor (Gordon-Levitt) becomes part of a heist at the bank which employs him.
After watching the trailer, I feel a hint of MEMENTO in this one. Guy can’t remember things, always writes stuff down, get’s take advantage of by others who use his disability against him…that sort of thing. Yet there is something about this film that I like. The feel of the movie is dark and very mysterious.
Although I can probably guess what will happen in the end of the film, I will probably check this one out, even if it is only on dvd.
The film is written and directed by Scott Frank, same guy who wrote GET SHORTY and OUT OF SIGHT. This film doesn’t have the big named actors like those others, but this one still looks good. THE LOOKOUT is due in theaters March 23rd.
