Last week we saw some photos taken from far away of Heath Ledger standing outside a trailer dressed up as the Joker. Well it seems as though the same photographer has been hard at work at getting pictures, and even video footage, of what is taking place on the set of THE DARK KNIGHT.
Below is a video that has some new, and some old, photos and there is even some video footage towards the end. I recommend watching this video with no sound on, because the music playing sucks.
Hey everyone, Ryan here with your first look at the trailer for Cate Blanchett’s new film due in theaters November 2, ELIZABETH – THE GOLDEN AGE.
Blanchett will be reprising her role of Queen Elizabeth I, and she will be supported by Geoffrey Rush, Clive Owen, Abbie Cornish and Samantha Morton.
THE GOLDEN AGE tells the thrilling tale of an era – the story of one woman’s crusade to control love, crush enemies and secure her position as a beloved icon of the western world. As Elizabeth’s cousin Mary Stuart conspires with Philip of Spain to topple the throne, Sir Francis Walsingham, Elizabeth’s trusty advisor works tirelessly to protect her from the many plots and conspiracies against her. Preparing to go to war to defend her empire, Elizabeth struggles to balance royal duties with an unexpected vulnerability in her attraction to Raleigh.
Wes Craven’s THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT is one of the more brutal films out there, mainly for its rape and torture scenes. Most people are shocked when they see this movie because of how twisted it is.
Well with the remake that is currently underway, don’t expect to see the same sort of brutality that was so prevalent in the original. Craven recently talked to Rottentomatoes.com and had this to say:
“I think it’s probably the film I’ve made the hardcore fans respect the most because it’s just so brutal,” Craven said. “We don’t want to do it quite that brutal because it’s also just a great story. Bergman did the story and before that it was a medieval story so we’re going to try to split the difference.”
Craven will only be producing the remake, so he has no say in what goes into the film. If you ask me, the filmmakers need to do this remake justice. In today’s films, we have seen much worse than what was in the original film, so there is no reason for this remake to be any less than the original.
Jason Smilovic, the guy who wrote LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN, and producers Tyler Mitchell and Robert Kravis have formed their own production company, Dark & Stormy Entertainment, that will put out film and TV projects.
Right now they are hard at work on a few projects coming out on TV and some on film, with one of those projects being Hunter S. Thompson’s RUM DIARY, which has Johnny Depp to star and Bruce Robinson planning to direct his own script.
There is no word on whether or not Benicio Del Toro will reprise his role for this project.
You can read the entire article over at Variety.com.
Well this is some pretty cool news coming from FirstShowing.net.
They recently talked to Avi Arad, the guy who heads the production on most of the major Marvel films that come out, and he has some interesting things to say about THE INCREDIBLE HULK and what he is going to look like. Here is part of their interview:
“None, no. It’s a new Hulk, new direction, new size, new color, new attitude. Anything that was done before is not in this movie. It’s a very different kind of Hulk. It’s more of a love story, it’s more of a heroic Hulk. It’s a kind of Hulk we loved in the show, so it’s kind of more influenced by the show than anything else. It’s very human, very touching, and huge action.â€
This is some really cool news if you ask me. First we hear Edward Norton will play the Hulk, and now we hear he is going to be grey, not green. If you ask me, this is shaping up to be one of the better comic book movies coming out in the next few years.
Hey everyone, Ryan here with some great news coming from Sam Raimi regarding the future of the SPIDER-MAN franchise.
Raimi confirmed that Sony Pictures is doing a 4th, 5th, and 6th installment of the SPIDER-MAN franchise. As of right now, Raimi hasn’t had time to think of any involvement of the upcoming films.
This source is coming from Comingsoon.net who got the scoop.
I hope this is scoop is true. The SPIDER-MAN story is just now beginning to really flourish. The first one was mainly an introduction to the character and some of the battles, inner and out, that he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. The sequel dove a little deeper into his life and had much more of a story than the first one. And now, with the third one due in theaters in two weeks, we will see what else is in store for Spider-Man. They can do a lot with this franchise because there is so much material on Spider-Man. So far, they’ve done a great job and I know as long as Raimi stays involved, the movies will continue to deliver.
Yahoo Movies has up a new domestic trailer for THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, and all I have to say is, it rocks.
The trailer is a lot like the international trailer released about a month ago, but this one has a much better second half. This one is action packed and shows us the Bourne that we all grew to love. That ass-kicking, no holds-barred Bourne that doesn’t give a crap about anything else.
Head on over to Yahoo Movies to watch the new trailer in HD or you can watch the Quicktime version below.
These images are coming from “picktaker1975″ over at photobucket.com.
They are pretty blurry and hard to make out, but from what they show, it sure as hell looks like the Joker. These are some pretty awesome pictures, if I do say so myself.
My only problem with it is that we had just heard that this Joker would be completely different than the one we’re used to. Well…if you take away from the purple suit, this Joker looks pretty close to the one from the 80s. I’m sure my opinion will change as more photos of the Joker are relasesed.
