So it seems that a sequel is being planned for the frat-tastic film OLD SCHOOL, and that there is already a script written. Director Todd Phillips said that he has been working on a script and has now handed it over to producer Ivan Reitman to try and get it made.

Rotten Tomatoes recently talked to Reitman, and here is what he has to say:

“I have in my briefcase a new draft of the screenplay, I got last night,” Reitman said over the weekend. “I haven’t read it yet. I’m going to read it on the plane. So yeah, we very much want to do it. We hope we can corral the entire cast because it was written by the same writers, will be directed by Todd Phillips as before.”

And when it came time to ask about the stars of the film, Reitman said:

“I wouldn’t want to recast that. I think the strength of a movie like ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Old School’ is the charm of those people together.”
