We reported about a month ago regarding a sequel to OLD SCHOOL being in the works. Now Luke Wilson, who was one of the main stars in the original, is ready to start filming.

“That’s the best news I’ve heard,” Wilson said. “I’m always kind of hoping in the back of my mind for Will [Ferrell] and Vince [Vaughn] to kind of bomb so they have to do it because I need it. That would be great.”

Wilson said that as long as the original director and writer return, Todd Philips and Scot Armstrong, he has no problem with doing a sequel.

If you ask me, this is just another way for Hollywood to reap the benefits a sequel would produce when a sequel is really not needed. The original OLD SCHOOL ended. There was no cliff hanger or any kind of ending that kept you guessing about what’s gonna happen. This is just a dumb idea all around if you ask me, but no one did and since I am not yet in the movie business, I can’t do anything about this.
