SPIDER-MAN 3 Remains #1 Despite 60% Drop

Hey everyone, Ryan here…

SPIDER-MAN 3 remained #1 over the weekend, despite a 60% drop. The film was able to take in another $60 million, making its two week domestic total $242 million.

In distant second came Fox Searchlight’s 28 WEEKS LATER, which was able to rake in $10 million, debuting in over 2,000 theaters.

I would expect this to be that last weekend we see SPIDER-MAN 3 on top because next week we will have SHREK THE THIRD hitting theaters, then PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD’S END comes out the week after, which hopes to beat Spidey’s record-breaking weekend.
