We have a brand spankin’ new image of Heath Ledger as The Joker wielding a knife. He looks pretty hardcore in this shot, and people had no faith in Ledger!

Hey everyone, Ryan here…
Robert Zemeckis and Jim Carrey have teamed up together to bring us a motion-captured animation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Zemeckis used this style before while making THE POLAR EXPRESS with Tom Hanks.
Bob Hoskins broke the news while having a chat with Empire Online, and this is what he had to say:
“He’s going to make A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey,” Hoskins says of the director he previously worked with on Who Framed Roger Rabbit. “He wants me to play Mr Fezziwig. He’s doing in that way he did Polar Express. You stand in a box with that funny suit on and it reads everything you do…Am I going to do it? Of course I am!”
I haven’t seen THE POLAR EXPRESS, but I also never heard anything bad about the film. Zemeckis should be able to pull this off, although the film might turn out to be just another Christmas movie along with 100 others that I am sure will be coming out in the next few years.

Add another movie to the continuously-growing list of Stephen King book-to-movie adaptations. It turns out as though Rob Schmidt, director of WRONG TURN, has landed the spot of directing an adaptation of King’s INSOMNIA.
INSOMNIA is a 700+ page book, which will make for a very hard adaptation Hopefully Schmidt will be able to do the book justice, and not screw it up. Schmidt did have something to say regarding him directing:
“I’m doing the film mainly because King was such a big fan of Wrong Turn!” says Schmidt.”
Hopefully he’s directing the film for more of a reason than King liking his first film…but I guess when you have King’s support, there’s not much more to ask for.

Our friends over at Bloody-Disgusting.com got a news scoop regarding Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN remake. Apparently there has been some intense filming going on this past week, including 6 new death scenes plus a whole new ending…check out what BD.com has to say:
â€Some crazy new Intel came into B-D this morning as we’ve been informed that Rob Zombie has been hard at work filming new material for his remake of HALLOWEEN, which is slated for release on August 31. Today ended seven straight days of grueling filming around the Los Angeles area, which included the addition of six, count ‘em, six new death sequences! The film has been given a serious boost in violence, gore and bloodshed… but that’s not the big news – we received word that an entire new finale has been shot. Details are mum on what is different, but we’re told the new ending is quite gruesome!!â€
I can not wait to see what Zombie does to this film. I bet he will take this over the limits, even more so now with all the extra added gore and mutilation. August 31, you can’t come soon enough!

Hey everyone, Ryan here…
Looks like Joe Carnahan has updated his website, including a nicely photoshopped image of L.A. back in the 1950s. This is what Carnahan had to say on the update:
We’re not shooting WHITE JAZZ in outer Bulgaria or f*cking Toronto. We’re
shooting it right here in LOS ANGELES. This is a photoshopped work-up of
Hollywood and Vine circa ’58. You’d be amazed how little you have to do to
return that block to its former, period luster.Look close and check out the driver of that red sled.
Look vaguely familiar?
(If you can’t tell, the driver is supposed to be George Clooney.)
So far, it seems as though things are beginning to shape up for the L.A. CONFIDENTIAL sequel to be one kick ass film. Carnahan is a skilled director, no doubt, and I can’t wait to see what he is able to do with WHITE JAZZ.
Hey folks, Ryan here…
Sorry for the lack of updates. The past 5 days have been real rough for me, but I am getting better and you will start to see more coming from us, starting with new images coming from the set of INDIANA JONES 4 with Shia and Harrison in full costume! Looking pretty good, I must say. Hope you enjoy.
