Judd Apatow and Adam Sandler have teamed up to bring us a new film, but this one won’t be your typical Apatow film. Plans are for the new film to not be a straight comedy, but more of a relationship movie. Apatow hopes for it be a “very, very funny drama.”

“Every movie I’m trying to find a way to go deeper, to tell stories about subjects that are important and make them less and less broad while making them equally as funny. It’s another step in that progression. It’s a comedy, but it has more drama in it. A hilarious drama is what I’m going for,” says Apatow.

The currently-untitled film will star Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Leslie Mann. Apatow is unsure is the rest of his normal crew will return, actors like Jonah Hill and Paul Rudd, but he says he will certainly be inviting them.
