Spoiler: ‘Final Destination 4′ Script Pages

These ‘Final Destination’ keep on coming…but I can’t really complain seeing how I actually enjoy just about every single one of them. I guess these kinds of films are one of my guilty pleasures in life that I will never let get by me. Seriously, who doesn’t like seeing teenagers brutally killed at least 10 times in just under 2 hours?

Well a reader over at IESB.net has sent in a spy report on ‘Final Destination 4′ with some information on the characters in the film and what’s going to happen. Take a look…

“Sealcrab here! Final Destination 4 (which is referred to on the script pages as Final Destination 4: 3D) is currently handing out sides for auditions. I managed to get my hands on a few, set for four different characters: Janet, Hunt, George, and Gearhead.

Janet’s scene seems to come earliest (and Hunt’s pages overlap them completely), introducing a number of early 20’s characters. Janet’s full name is Janet Cunningham and she’s complaining to her friends about going to see racecars instead of going to a movie. With her are friends Lori Milligan, Lori’s boyfriend Nick O’Bannon and the comically frat-like Hunt Wynorski. There’s also a character called The Cowboy who sits for a moment in front of the group and a guy called Gearhead with his young girlfriend who starts a conversation with them just as the pages end. This is way towards the start of the film and we’re building tension at a dirty Indiana racetrack where, no doubt, something bad is about to happen.

We don’t get that far, though, as Janet’s pages then jump much later to Lori and Janet heading to the movies. This is cut between a death scene of the Cowboy whose being electrocuted somewhere else. Nick and a fellow named George are headed to Lori and Janet and seem to have figured out the whole death-is-coming rules.

Then there’s another scene jump where the Gearhead’s girlfriend has just been killed in some accident at the racetrack, leaving 52 dead.

The Gearhead’s pages are brief and involve Lori with a guy named Tom coming to tell him that death will be after him next. (The say that three have died so far) but the Gearhead refuses to listen.

The George scenes involve all four characters gathered together, trying to make sense of the accident at the racetrack. They review video and decide who’s going to die and when. Later, George seems to realize that since he’s not next, he actually can’t die and tries a few times to kill himself. He reveals a bit of backstory; he once killed his family in a drunk driving accident and served time in prison.”

Sounds pretty interesting. I have always wondered what would happen if one of those NASCAR cars crashed so bad it flew into the crowd and killed lots of people. Oh ya, how about that title? ‘Final Destination 4: 3D’ sounds like it could be a lot of fun, but I also feel like I might shit myself if I saw a racecar flying out of the screen right at me!

Will these movies ever stop, or will they continue until the end of time? Will you see a horror flick like this in 3D? Discuss below!

    Hi there,
My review to the movie is …
[The] set pieces never quite muster the giddy brio of Final Destination 1 and 3 auteur James Wong at his best.
