So we have already seen some photos of Optimus Prime and Barricade beings transported on big flat-bed trucks, now we get to read about some new information that has just risen from IESB. Robert says there are some new characters will be showing up alongside some of the old ones.
First, the Decepticons. Rumor has it they will be receiving aid from the Constructicons who, in the comics, were: Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Mixer, Hook and Long Haul. When you take all of them and combine them into one, you get Devastator, who is one big-ass robot. Check out some fan art, courtesy of Rise Studios, below.
Then IESB posted something about some of the new characters (humans) that will be joining the cast. We’re going to see Chuck who is a conspiracy theorist with his own website, a funny U.S. military leader, a U.K. special forces leader, Professor Colan who is a professor at Princeton and prides himself to be as intellectual as Einstein, and finally we have Theresa who is a sassy and sexy lady with a good sense of humor.
Sounds to me like Michael Bay seems to have a decent script ready to go as well as a nice set of new characters. Hopefully this one won’t disappoint, because I really enjoyed the first and would like to see a nice solid trilogy come from this franchise.
