Joker Scene Not to be Cut

We reported earlier about a rumor where a scene in the new Batman movie would be cut. The scene entails Spoiler Alert! Heath Ledger as the Joker jumping out of a body bag.
Moviehole now has denied that any scenes would be cut from the film. They quote a ’source close to the Dark Knight’ as saying “I KNOW for a fact that that scene is in the film. I also know that WB has made no such mandate and that Chris [Nolan] is honest when saying that he will not change what was intended with The Joker.â€
The reason the rumor started was because reports were that test audiences thought it was distasteful
to show Heath Ledger’s character in that situation. I guess they must have thought it was “too soon” for that to be shown to people. Personally, I hope they keep it in there. Chris Nolan needs to stay true to what he intended for The Joker, and the best way for him to do that is to keep this film as original as possible.
