We’ve all been waiting a long time for this digital TV conversion to finally take place, and now we’re going to have to wait even longer. The Senate has just delayed the whole conversion another four months to help everyone waiting for their $40 coupons to buy their DTV converted boxes. This transition was supposed to take place February 17th, but now it will happen on June 12th.

All I have to say is Congress and everyone else involved needs to get their act together and get this transition underway. We have been seeing the commercials regarding this transition for months now and it seems like we should have had ample time to get this whole conversion thing over with.

Can I get satellite TV if I live in an apartment or condo? Yes. All you need is an unobstructed view of the southern sky in order to get reception. Many apartment and condo residents install their satellite TV dish on their balcony or patio. You can also install your satellite dish on a moveable stand if permanent mounting is not allowed.
