Then we were given two official, yet not very revealing, images of Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson.

Now we get to see how Denny Colt/The Spirit is going to look in the film, thanks to an image of a toy. AICN was sent this image today of an upcoming DC Direct toy of The Spirit.

What’s wrong with this toy, you ask? Well, The Spirit is traditionally supposed to wear blue but I guess Miller has different plans. I think I like the black a bit better. The blue seems way too cartoonish and doesn’t look natural to me.

How do you feel about the new Spirit? Is black in? Or should have Miller stuck with the blue?
